What is collected
- Account details — your username, your password as a one-way hash, the payout address you give, and your email address if you provide one.
- Activity — fuel runs, collections, upgrades, referrals and payout requests, with timestamps. This is the record of what you earned and why.
- IP addresses — recorded when you register and when you sign in.
- A browser fingerprint — a hash derived from characteristics your browser reports, such as screen size, timezone and language. It is not a cookie and cannot be read by other sites.
- Session cookie — one cookie, to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies set by this site.
Why
Account details and activity exist so the service can pay you correctly and show you your own history. IP addresses and fingerprints are used for one purpose: to detect people running multiple accounts to take more than their share. A faucet that cannot do that cannot pay anybody.
Automated checks
Accounts are scored automatically against signals such as shared addresses, shared devices, proxy or VPN use, and unusually thin activity behind a payout request. A high score does not close an account or take a balance — it holds a payout for a person to look at.
To check whether an address is a known proxy or datacenter, IP addresses are sent to a third-party reputation service (proxycheck). Only the address is sent; no account details go with it.
Who else sees your data
- The payment processor receives the payout address and amount needed to pay you.
- Advertisers and link providers set their own cookies and see their own traffic when you visit them. Their handling of your data is governed by their policies, not this one.
- The hosting provider processes data on the operator's behalf in order to run the site.
Your data is not sold, and it is not shared for advertising or profiling.
How long it is kept
Account and activity records are kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, so past payouts can be reconciled and disputes answered. Technical logs such as sign-in attempts and reputation lookups are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your choices
- You can ask for a copy of what is held about your account.
- You can correct your email or payout address from your account.
- You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted. Withdraw your balance first — a deleted account cannot be paid. Records the operator is required to keep for accounting may be retained in a minimal form.
- You can register without an email address, though then your password cannot be reset automatically.
Requests go through the contact page.
Children
This service is not for anyone under 18 and is not directed at children. If an account is found to belong to a minor it will be closed.
